Oxycodone APAP - As Effective As Percocet

Oxycodone APAP is the generic preparation that is as effective as Percocet.  Never confuse between Hydrocodone APAP and Oxycodone APAP.  Each one of these are completely different from each other.  Hydrocodone APAP is an equivalent for Vicodin.  Both these preparations contain acetaminophen however in different proportions.  The role of both of these medications is to help with mild to moderate pain and they can be habit forming when taken inappropriately.

Most prescriptions of Oxycodone APAP that are dispensed are tolerated well across all boards of patients.  With light side effects like nausea, vomiting, constipation, dizziness, drowsing and itching being common with most of them.  This medication is always prescribed with specifications to avoid heavy lifting and driving during the activity period of the drug.  For instance, if the drug tends to have a pain relief duration of 6 hours, the patient is recommended not to involve in intense activities after 6 hours of the dosage of the drug.  The activity period of the drug can vary based on the dosage strength, the metabolic conditions of the patient and other parameters as uniquely defined by the physician.

Euphoria and Dysphoria are also common side effects with this drug.  People who experience Euphoria as a side effect tend to feel extremely pleasant and therefore tend to favor the intake of this drug and show some degree of comfort with this prescription.  However, some patients tend to experience Dysphoria, which is a condition characterized by extreme unpleasant feeling and therefore tend to ask for an alternate prescription.

No matter which drug you are on, whether Oxycodone APAP or Percocet, mild side effects are unavoidable, because synthetic drugs are not natural metabolic components that fit in to the normal cyclic patterns in the human system.  The body considers them as foreign to some extent and takes some time to accommodate.  Despite the milder side effects the scope of the prescription is fulfilled providing appropriate pain relief.  However, in cases where you experience difficult and scary side effects you need to talk to your physician who will decide if you should continue with the medication, stop the medication or get an alternate prescription.  That is for you to discuss with your physician.

Most of the physicians explore your medical records to look for documentations about your allergies, family history, social history, and other medical conditions to judge for probable drug interactions.  It is as well important for you to orally state your concerns about allergies and side effects to a practical degree during the office visit.

Oxycodone APAP is not normally prescribed for patients with dependence issues like alcohol and drugs.  Also, patients with chronic medial concerns like gallbladder or pancreatic issues,  liver disorder, renal failure, low blood pressure, lung diseases, cerebrovascular conditions etcetera.  As well you need to discuss issues concerning allergies to food and dyes as well.  Do not buy the medication without prescription or due reasons to be taking it.  If you are ignorant about probable side effects the consequences might not be healthy.
